George D. Durrant is the author of more than 20 books, including the bestsellers Love at Home—Starring Father and Don’t Forget the Star. He taught religion at Brigham Young University and worked in many capacities for the LDS Church Education System. He also served as director of Priesthood Genealogy for the LDS Church. His education includes a B.S. degree in Art from BYU, a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from BYU and an EdD degree in Educational Administration from BYU. George was born and raised in American Fork, Utah. He is the father of eight children and grandfather of 32 and counting. His wife, Marilyn, passed away in October 2011 and she is missed by all who knew and loved her.
